During the meeting, participants reviewed the achievements and progress made throughout the current year. Doctors, nurses, managers, and technical staff from the Shida Kartli and Kvemo Kartli home care teams discussed the service's key accomplishments, shared experiences, and addressed the challenges encountered while delivering home care services.
The meeting also introduced House of Support's future development plans, including the implementation of the "Informal Caregiver" model. This initiative aims to expand the organization's service coverage, increase the number of beneficiaries, and strengthen the involvement of family members in caring for older adults through specialized training and capacity-building.
By equipping family caregivers with practical knowledge and skills, the initiative will promote more effective communication with older people and contribute to ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.
